I am writing this at 3am.
The reason? I have almost burnt the house down. I boiled some eggs for pickling, completely forgot about them and woke up round about 1.30\2.00am with a sciatic pain in my leg. When I got up to use the bathroom I smelt something burning, when I came into the kitchen to investigate, I found the eggs had exploded and gone everywhere. So after cleaning egg yolk and burnt shell up from floor and ceiling, I am now typing this hoping for the smell of burning to vanish before my boyfriend wakes up.
